Congratulations to all the weavers of words on this International Poetry Day

For me, poetry is one of the most profound and expressive forms of art, a living tapestry of words that dances between the sublime and the everyday. It possesses a unique power to elicit a wide spectrum of emotions and responses in those who contemplate it: from the gentle surrender of reverie to the lingering shadow of melancholy...”.

Poetry is both an intimate reflection of the spirit and a t...

I Would Like

I would like to see a communion of beliefs,
sincere tolerance and respect for life

I would like to see hatred,
resentment, infamy and pain to disappear

I would like to see the streets stripped
of dust, ashes and shadows

I would like to see in this fragile silence
that the fragor of the battles
were between pencils and not guns

I would like the hands of the clock
to announce wit...

Contemplate The Moon

Contemplate the moon moving slowly,
in its nightly stroll illuminates a thousand mirrors,
cautiously watching from afar
the misfortune that drags us mercilessly

Always above us,
on its long journey without destination
it wonders: why is it so hard for people
to give even a crumb of affection?

It continues its journey, thinking of all those who pray for peace, while others, greedy only...

Bicephaly

An aged postcard of laughter in a mailbox,
a marble photograph in a picture frame
a sheet of zinc in a corner to sleep on,
        garbage to eat;
        faith runs without hope

In whose head is there peace,
in the cell of the despot,
    or in freedom?

You Will Hear

Youwill hear that the day is of pearls
and the night a percussion of stars,
that the enemy's evil plays at misfortune
and sinks its claws into you when you least expect it

You will hear that the weapon of violence
is man's by nature, that the blue is just a line in the dawn

You will hear that there are voices that shriek with envy
and pain is forever

You will hear that suffering ne...

Laws

A nation flooded with laws is condemned by power,
which adapts and manipulates them
to its convenience and fancy
                                    Laws
A nation overburdened with laws is condemned
by the rulers who use them to control and punish
those who do not conform and do not accept to kneel

When the fate of the people
is placed in the hands of a few,
the lives of millions hang i...

There is an Age

There is an age for foolishness and an age for wisdom.
Life is sometimes hard and teaches us lessons that we must learn.
There is an age for every season.
                                     There is an Age
There is an age to sleep a lot and another when the eyes do not close. Situations arise where nothing seems to make sense.
There is an age for foolishness and an age for wisdom.

May be your Brother

We do not laugh at the same things,
nor do we cry for the same reasons,
nor do we feel the same way
            or share the same dreams;
        we pursue different goals
    but we all, without exception,
go through life in search of happiness

So why do we still shackle others,
restrict freedom, fight and even kill
for ideas that are not even our own
    or cl...

The Pages Of Time

Through the pages of time,
    here or elsewhere,
        with enlightened peace,
            announces that man
will now live with a smile,
    merging with all beings
like the tides of the sea

I long for the light of happiness,
    to remove impiety
    and find a new man
who smilingly brings happiness to others

Through the pages of time
    let a flag be unfurled

Interview with Noris Roberts

Creatura knows no borders. In this issue we have the pleasure of introducing you to this wonderful Venezuelan poet, who gives us her poems from the other side of the pond that connects us. She is another great internautic (if I may use the word...) discovery. And now I "present" her to all of you. From Venezuela for Creatura, the great Noris Roberts.

- My friend Noris, who do you think is the b...

Poetry i

Poetry is considered by many to be one of the most meaningful and expressive forms of art. It possesses the ability to evoke a wide range of emotions and responses from its audience, including reverie, melancholy, humor, and even anger.

By arousing such a variety of sensations, it is intimate yet universally relatable.

This artistic discipline allows one to explore the aesthetic qualities...

Give me a Kiss

Come, kiss my lips
where words tremble
and kisses are reborn

Come and leave it here
on the edge of my skin,
where desire melds with pleasure

Give it to me,
and let it fall like rain
that slips like a secret,
between my skin

Give it to me softly,
in this nightfall,
as I burn
and die for you

Write me

Write me with your ink on my body,
and the calligraphy of your lips

Make my back a canvas where your heartbeat dwells,
and let each touch awaken
the echo of the beloved

Write me without words,
without voice, let your hands be the language
and the silence our verse

Let your breath be the spark that ignites the night,
and the fire that marks my flesh,
be memory of your touch

Let ...

Tatjana Debeljački vs Noris Roberts Interview

Tatjana Debeljački vs Noris Roberts Interview

Lawyer, writer, Peace Ambassador, and I also read that you are a designer?
Lawyer: Yes, I'm a lawyer and I’ve worked in my profession ever since I graduated from college.
It is very difficult to practice law in Venezuela because there is no real impartiality. Everything is very biased and politicized. Justice is not blind; it has eyes and a point...
