There's a heart somewhere...

There is a tiny slip of a poem that popped into my head whilst driving in a state of elevated amour some while back. Try as I might I could never think of a second verse, let alone a third or fourth....and then I posted it on my blog and within seconds Alvin came up with a corker. Immediately I thought of a third. I wonder if we can take it further together...?

Rules? Cut and paste the whole lot and add your verse....that's all.

There's a heart somewhere that's twinned with mine
And on the road there is a sign
'This Heart Welcomes Careful Drivers'

There's a heart somewhere that's twinned with mine
And on the road there is a sign
'This Heart Takes Priority Over Oncoming Vehicles'

There's a heart somewhere that's twinned with mine
And on the road there is a sign
'Slow.....Children!'

Take it away.

Hi john, can't follow the rules, sorry, cut and paste is ok when dealing with 'my documents' etc, but get a little lost sometimes with it all, so will add a verse.

There's a heart somewhere that's twinned with mine.
And on the road there is a sign.
'Beware.............heart crossing!'.

This is brilliant! I mean, really lovely. It's so wonderful to access other folk's imaginations in such a way.

Glad you like it - I do too. I think you gave us a very nice starting point - an interesting and totally fresh approach to well worn subject.
