The candle glows

with lighted wick

on top the

bathroom cabinet

with trusty tool

I clicked my Bic

now fumes disperse

because of it

 

Oh candle you are

such a friend

unlike the candle

in the wind

your fame is not

of Hollywood

but simply put

you smell so good

 

The candle burns

aromas rise

is it Pine scent

or Apple Pie

who cares what scent

no burning eyes

no more offense

stench wafts goodbye.
