I bought some solar powered lights
actually, I bought quite a few
Now I have come to the conclusion
I may be solar powered too

In dull weather I feel lethargic
lacking energy, low and slow
In the sunshine I feel energised
recharged, fired up, set to go

Like my solar powered garden lights
my cells need charging by sunlight
I hope by the time summer arrives
my light will shine bright, day and night
