Yesterday

I saw a neighbor going out

to get the mail with a mask on

it was sunny, it was bright

it was warm with no one else was around

and yet there she was

fully masked

I guess she thought Covid lived at the Post Office

and was delivered by the postal carrier

and that's how it spread across the country so fast

it would also explain

why sometimes your packages are torn open

it's the Virus

looking for your stimulus check.
