The UK is launching a Spaceman 
for the whole wide world to hear

The year expectations are high
and the dream is for so much more 

All around the world  
Eurovision celebrations are planned
National flags will fly with pride 
in every European homeland 

Twenty five hopeful artists 
will be judged by their song on the night 
There will be some wacky performers
and some weird and wonderful sights 

But they won’t stop our Spaceman
he will blast the other entries away
Nil points will be a distant memory
and a new star will be born this day
