Dominoes
As they tumble one by one
like a row of dominoes in line
Government officials and Minsters
choose their moment to resign
To build a new cabinet
now almost impossible to do
To make something out of nothing
well, I suppose that’s nothing new
My Dad makes bits of furniture
from old pallets and scraps of wood
I’m sure he can build a more stable cabinet
than Boris ever could

It has been said that Bojo was so successful as mayor of London
because of the people he had around him who were not afraid
to call him to account. Perhaps, like Thatcher before him, he
had too many "vegetables" at his table as PM?! Which begs the
question: who selected them to be MPs in their constituencies?
The quality control seems lacking in current Conservative Party
selection processes. Dead wood exists, if the likes of Hunt are
even considered as a successor now.
