Before Eternity
I wish upon
A Shooting Star
Then, turn around
And there you are
Wrapped up in shimmering
Cloaks of moonlight
Your starlit smile
A celestial delight
And in my arms
I feel you there
The warmth of you
Through cold night air
Your lingering scent
Warms my heart
So cold, since yours
Refused to start
I want this moment
For ever more
But soon it drifts
To endless shores
And, yet, soft whispers
Caress my ears
To say:
Abate your lonely tears
I am the cooling morning breeze
The song of birds from distant trees
The sway of summer's golden fields
The light that darkness cannot steal
The colours of a rainbow's sail
That drifts from sky to misty vale
I am the warming hug of dawn
The dusky twilight's sleepy yawn
And there I rest in dewy slumber
Beneath a veil of untold wonder
Do not be shackled by love now lost
Or let living a life be the cost
Find yourself, and you'll find me
For, later
We have eternity

Wow, just beautiful and very touching. Your content is great and your way of expressing is like a dance. Also, clearly very inspired. I am new to write out loud and I am reading older entries from poets whose work triggers something in me. Thank you!
