ADRIAN'S WALL - A BRIEF HISTORY
Adrian's wall is nothing special,
no visitors flock to its breezy heights,
it flanks the corner of Evelyn Street
one of Rawtenstall's lesser known sights.
Adrian lives in obscurity
has never been feted by the National Trust
no would be conquest
has ever been thwarted
no glorious victories credited there,
although repairs were carried out
when a car ran wide on a roundabout
causing a breach of considerable size
where some kids came in and went through his bin -
Adrian's wall is nothing special,
and when in the fullness of time he moves
no Roman graffiti will mourn his passing,
just pizza fliers for floor mosaics.
He'll have lost his claim to historical fame
'cause it won't be Adrian's wall any more.

Thank you Hugh, Stephen, Stephen and John Gilbert Ellis for reading and enjoying.
Thanks Reggie's Ghost, that fits the picture without a doubt.
I hope you're right Telboy. I think a march of consolidation on Downing Street should sort it out.
