Cycle Haiku

The seed awakens

Watery light springboards life

Dormancy declines

Recognition grows

Pollination of ideas

Yields a bumper crop

Recognition slows

Fields of creativity

Decay, fall fallow

Dormancy begins

Hibernate ideas so they

Survive to revive

Cycle round again

Chain of life is circular

Season is complete?

Thanks all - glad you enjoyed it. It calmed me to write it.

And Rachel - Spring IS here. We went for a walk on Sunday and all the trees were budding like crazy, Great Crested Grebes were courting, the daffs were all up and ready to flower, and you could smell it in the air. Proper buzz.

i want it to be spring again, make it be spring with your magic words x

a difficult task, you make it seem easy, a beautiful flow through the haikus making a complete cycle of its own. very clever x

Gentle. Reflective. The steady march of thoughts - almost like the clues in an analytical crossword - speaks of the measured cyclical progression of the seasons and those other forces in our lives that are hinted at. Well-written.
