Really enjoyed the picture Laura..takes me back somewhat..super stuff :)
"Luxury! there were eighteen of uf us livin in't shoe box in t'middle o t'road!"
I suspect this is just as much about mental freedom as it is about physical freedom. You write vith a vividness and immediacy, yet intelligibility, that is very easy on the brain

Great poem, Laura. Enjoyed. :)
Thanks chaps :) Aye Mike - that's what we used! Shoplifted eggs, too ;D

Great grubby picture
Laura! You're at it again! Writing great stuff.
Egg-white for hair gel- that's no yoke!
Are you cracking up?
OK, I'll lay off you then.
Seriously though Brill!
Mike

Being from the US, we prob. weren't in any of the same squats, but I also have a fondness for all of these things. Making your own family amongst strangers sometimes, pheromones and keytones all mingling together. The egg whites, made me laugh, I remember all of these things, but the freedom, man, that was priceless. So glad you wrote this I can't stop smiling. Thank you.
