I grabbed the blade

She held the handle

I gripped it tight

She swifly pulled

and smiled

I looked at her smile

She assured me of

our continuing friendship.

As the blood seeped

between my forgotten

fingers

I love the "edgyiness" of this, it hints at that all is not what it seems, and leave me wanting to know more about the before and after...
