I think I want to paint the shed
perk it up with a nice, bright red.
But then I'll have to do the fence
and that all adds to the expense.
And then I'll have to do the wall
but I can't afford to do it all.
Then there's flowers
those I need.
Pots and soil and yes, seeds.
Painted rocks and veggie box
water feature? Maybe not!
Then I'd like to build a deck,
somewhere nice to take a rest.
Fire pit and pretty lights
plants and seats for summer nights.
I want to screen the dustbins too
the black, the brown, the green and blue
Then I'd like to change the gates,
something strong that will not break.
Maybe I could add some grass,
or is that too much of an ask?
I think I'll leave it after all,
the shed, the fence and the wall.
Leave it 'til I have more money.
