Chalk And Cheese
Impulsively she embraces
Each new venture that she faces;
Can’t abide those empty spaces,
Giant paces, giant paces.
He goes through life his nature showing
You can trust him, always knowing
That his world is stable, flowing,
Easy going, easy going.
Got together, now they share
Relationship that is so rare;
Such biding joy to make you stare,
It’s love I swear, it’s love I swear.
Although they may be chalk and cheese,
They fit together with such ease,
They one another clearly please,
And lightly tease, and lightly tease.
He is sunshine and she’s the storm;
Each other’s moods they can transform
From hot and cold to peaceful norm,
In joy reform, in joy reform.

I seem to recall, from distant schooldays, something about
like poles repelling and unlike poles attracting...or have I
got that the wrong way round?
Either way, the theme contains its own truth about
disparate spirits in a very entertaining rhyming mode.
