Clump. Clump. Clump.

Careful with that carpet.

The sitting stool is taken.

Move the lights around.

In this drawer - here's a key.

Tobacco and moth flutter

and ivory, pass the violin

case. Put up with this sound.

Clump. Clump. Clump.

"Your wife, was she a proud woman?"

Adjust hat-stand

Circle smoking stall.

Rain patters on

and on and on and on and on...

"Show me the photos. Show me the smiles."

A very clear descriptive imagery here to create the scene of bygone times.... And the emphasis of power of sound.... Radio...... I still listen radio every day on way home from work and write my own radio scripts which I gunnar try to get radio slot for publication

Lovely, David. I worked at the BBC in the sixties, and was present with the actors in the recording suites. A great insight into the backroom activities, all a bit like a goldfish bowl wired up and observed in detail . In those days recorded on reel to reel.

This felt very real!
