In Texas

our chickens have hooves

that's how damn big they are

but we don't mind

in fact we ride em bareback

they are cross-bred

and hard to pen

but them chickens feed

a buncha folks

if you barbecue em over mesquite

a bit of wild taste

but still ain't bad for free range

just make sure you clean em up good

before you grill em

chicken hooves are a delicacy

kinda like buffalo wings

only so far

there aint caught on

and become popular with the city folks

won't be long

somebody will come up with

a good receipt

and open a restaraunt devoted to

them barbecued chicken hooves

and the craze will be on
