How

How

How do you describe a moment;
in a life filled with moments
How do you describe one kiss;
in a lifetime full of kisses.
How do you describe that one moment
that walks with you every single second of every single day,
alternating between a friend and adversary.
Reminding you of the unattainable once attained.
Is it worth the time.. the memories..the pain and the longing.
Is it worth the words I scribe,
to describe.
To hold one exquisite memory captive for a lifetime,
both tortured and comforted.
I say yes and yes again.
A lifetime of yeses.

This a lovely poem and one that recognises beautifully that a life can be made in or by a moment.
