Jack

My contribution to this weeks rhymers theme..Jack.

Jack

Jack; so many uses for this name,
come on let's play a little game.

'Jack of all trades master of none.'
There you go that is one.

Here are two names..Jack or Joe.
Names used sometimes for those we do not know.

Jack the lad,
we all know he's a cad.

Then there is a Jackass,
sometimes stupid sometimes crass.

The Jack- O- Lantern illuminates the night,
giving the young ones such a fright.

They named him John, but the call him Jack;
come on now, what's the craic?

I could continue on and on,
but my will to live has just gone.

Jack is a knave who uses crack, also a President who liked a whack, Brexit was a real Jack in the box!

Nice one. Jennifer

Good choice of material for the theme.
PS
My late brother-in-law John
Was always called Jack.
Now they're both gone -
So, no more craic!

I can well recall playing Strip Jack naked for hours but we all remained fully clothed with a true sense of propriety.

Thank you for this poem Taylor. Well done

I've just been let down with a crash here
Strip Jack Naked's not what I thought
Turns out it's a game for the kiddies
And not for nude adults who cavort

I could take on your will to live
Explore further uses of Jack
But I'm also feeling a little bit tired-like
Almost time to go fall in the sack

zzzzzzz ?
