The pitifulness of the pityful

In a bustling  open market
Before sunset
In buyers
And sellers heart
Seeking  a place
An emaciated old beggar
With a weather-worn face
Was pitifully collecting alms
Putting on tattered clothes.

Soon in a tear-jerking
And heart-wrenching manner
A poor blind boy
Playing a flute
Singing a song strong
Titillating everyone's heart
Invoked sympathy with art
"It was
On a cursed morn

THE UNINVITED GUEST

Oh deep, dark depression,

my uninvited guest,

the persistence of oppression

is precluding my life’s zest.

The dark before sunrise

of a dawn that just won't break,

suppressed by a thirst for my soul

that only sorrow can now slake.

The wisps that you are weaving

are clouding my damp eyes,

a cold and cloying shroud

that’s covering all that I desire.

DEPRESSIONDARKPOEMPOETRYSADCRYCRIESTEARSLOSSLOST HELP

To win or to remedy?

Just to win an argument
Oft the couples
Resort to a heated debate.

For a change
They never tried
To remedy a challenge.

They have themselves to blame
For a solution begging problem.

Severed Connection

The connection between us
The communicating
The friendship
The love
The joy
It seems entirely gone
Just like our form of communicating
Or the internet
Or soon, my silver chord
Which holds my soul onto this plane of existence
This unbreakable cord
Just like the red string
Just like me
Has been severed

A Broken Mind, a Sound Body

My head hurts

My eyes are spinning

My heart lies on the floor

You really really hurt me
I still don't comprehend
Why you walked out the door

Sure I might have been too forward
But you didn't say a thing
All I asked from the very beginning
Was to let me show my wings

But now the joys are hidden
And you left me in a room
Where I've been crying over ...

Trickle Towards Tomorrow

Trickling Towards Tomorrow

Everything Trickles
The tears, they trickle down my cheek
Just like everything else does.
Time trickles day by day,
Sometimes fast, like a river rushing towards the sea,
Often times slow, slow as my tears,
For it is these moments that I remember,
And all the joyful ones I keep discarding.
The tears come from many sources,
Whether it is the loss of something I...

More Than A Tractor, Deeper Than the Cam

Theres a happy sad,

And some people can sing it.

Some people can paint it,

Sketch it.

Some people live it,

Not because they can,

But because they are cursed.

Because they do.

Some people learn it,

And still,

They never feel it.

Some of us feel it,

Wrecked for years,

Smiling with tears on our cheeks,

And never learn it.

I have fe...

Emotionally unstable

Emotionally unstable?

Life becomes a series of two periods.

One where you feel good and life is great,

and one where every day is a bumpy ride on an emotional rollercoaster.

When on the verge of tears, it’s always a close call holding them back, not letting them fall.

I discovered that when on the verge of tears,

I hold my breath in an attempt to wait it out.

Stupidly trying ...
