The gift of words
What you say this Christmas may be even more important than what presents you give ....
Some of them written
Most of them heard
Many are bitten
By the power
Of word
The gifts that
You've given
Soon they forget
But choose words
With care
Lest a lifetime
Regret

Savaged Soul
If I knew your poetry would suddenly
disappear,
I would have memorized
every poem,
to comfort me
when I feel alone.
Your words help heal
my savaged soul.
I'm sad you had to go.

WIZARD KILLER
Visions of the future,
Dreams of reality,
Our plane of existence,
Relies on duality,
The controllers of this world,
A separate ruling class,
I see through their bullshit,
The language of the looking glass,
Symbols and language,
Are the key to understanding,
The lies and deceptions,
And the trauma-based programming,
Rhetoric and satire,
The weapons of the wizard,
Words truly are magic...

What is Poetry?
Poetry is my
drug of choice,
calming rain,
rays of sunshine.
an antidote
to suffering,
waltzing words
on lonely nights,
my lost lover
whispering
in my ear,
release,
of fear,
wind beneath
birds in flight,
illuminating
light,
immortality...

Chit Chat
Speaking can feel like your swallowing
So, you may as well swallow instead
Or it’s giving,
Giving and giving
Fingers down your throat,
Retching
Searching for…
Will I be stronger tomorrow?
Or just hollow tomorrow?
So, you end up filling up on someone else’s dictionary
I am disarmed without my language
But my language is disarming
Words do break your bones
Voca...

Technique
The way I write…
I brainstorm twenty titles
words or phrases
that sound good to me
that subconsciously
already feel like parts of me
then I refine them
and refine them
pile them up around my feet
And when I’m in the mood to write
I’ll either start writing
(with aim or aimlessly)
until I get stuck
then I grab a title
work it in the lock
release whatever’s hidden
(and it feels good...

Escaping Writer's Block
Caught in the ruins
Looking for a
Way out
The scribe sits
In silence
Waiting for a muse
To remove
Doubt
He prepares
In meditation
Now he's between
Two worlds
Almost time
For his
Initiation
His thoughts
Are in
A swirl
He knows
He can escape this
His setting out his
Course
Crafting out
His words
At such
An incredible

ConVERSEation
Cryptical clues
On the tip of the tongue
Performed in a verse
Or a line of a song
Meaningful messages
Massaging your soul
Lost in a rhythm
You just can't control
Regular chat won't
Give you this thrill
But tuning in
to a poem
Certainly will

For the love of language
English is a rebellious tongue
defiant and disobedient.
Like a passionate protestor
it rails against rigid rules
and dodges
pattern and conformity.
And lucky is the linguist
who joins its
joyful dance.
Where males may sail
with crews who cruise
past whales in Wales
and foul sea fowl.
And soles are soiled
down lanes well lain
and herds are heard

Immortality Methodology
Immortality Methodology
Always remember -
endings are new beginnings.
Here’s to the future,
where an ending waits for me
while my words live forever.

Wish You Were Here
Wish you were here,
to break down all the differences,
to shake down all the borders,
to melt down all the distance,
to connect all the figures
in the right place.
What else could, what else could confront us?
In the same way we breath,
in the same way we cry,
wish you were here,
tonight when the whole world is empty
and there is no one left to die.
Wish you were here,
to create all...

Dear Poet
I wish you could
see yourself
as I see you.
You see
an outcast,
rebel without a cause.
I see
a tormented soul
with so much potential.
Silver-tongued sage,
healing hearts
with the flick of a pen
on a tattered page.

Words
Take some words
And write them down
Give them life
Give them sound
Twist them
Turn them
Make them real
Let them become
Whatever you feel

The Enlightenment
We walk a
fine line in
our relationship
with others.
Words, powerful
as they are,
miss the idiosyncrasies
of body language
that convey sincerity
and good intention.
On the road
to enlightenment,
our muse sometimes
knicks old wounds
that the ego
rushes to protect.
Our responsibility
remains
with freedom
of expression,
to speak our truth
knowing some will ...

Calon Cymru
I have always been
On the bleak bald mountain
I have dwelt through the ages
At the deep source of the fountain
Guardian of all knowledge:
Before they knew me
I was here
When this land was fashioned around my soul
Sole guardian uncrowned
Then I loved this mortal mound
Tenured on God's holy ground
I have always been
At the brow of the hill
I was th...

My Dopamine
Your words flow
though my veins
and light up my soul
like nothing
I've ever known.
Chemical alchemy.
Cosmic destiny.
Beyond comprehension.
From another dimension.
Steam. My dopamine.
