Fall (Remove filter)

The leaves come down

The leaves come down

And they’re orange and brown

And they fall in the forest

And they tumble in the town

And they clog up the gutters and gather in the grates

They're  the colour of butter when they shine on slates

And they crinkle and curl as they silently lie

For this is the time when the leaves all die

In Autumn gales

They are blown and tossed

The Flower One Day

The Flower One Day / Michael Kwack

While I was not out,

The flower bloomed.

That will fall,

While I do not look,

The flower of love.

One day,

Suddenly,

The heart will fall.

Speak for the Trees

tears fall from the tips of leaves,
no longer heaving but finally at peace,
no longer a place for relief,
no longer bending to the constant breeze,
no longer kept afloat meandering rivers,
no longer subject to raging fires,
no longer a victim to defeat.

tides no longer pulling at the heart,
stars no longer hovering above,
no longer tormented to be part of the world
that casts...

Hamburg Tram

We met in Berlin when the wall was crumbling

Two students amid the chaos of living history

It was like war-time only in reverse

How we lunged at each other was no mystery

Marriage was just a matter of course

Then our careers upset the apple-cart

You went on business back to Berlin and stayed

Leaving me with the kids and a broken heart

You'd altered little but for a fro...

Leaves

LeAvEs
How they have fallen,
Laying thick,
Pressing the jostling grass
Under them.
Obliterating it from sight.
Their browns and yellows brighter
Than the grey above.
Achieving a moment of glory,
In death a dominance.
Looking up to freed branches
Framing veiled light,
Had they thought to fly,
Letting go their source of life?
How they have fallen!

Party Time

A fiery clown has come down

Over forests, lanes and towns.

No trumpets blown, no drums rolled,

Out of the morning mists he strolled.

Yello! Yello! It's party-time!,

He smiled. His reds and golds he sprayed around.

And God's whole house was swathed with hues untold.

All about the orange glowed, crimson leaves displayed.

The ceiling now was light with blue.

Isabella

Either to swear, or not
The lies are a bad spot
Thanks, but thanks a lot
For your unfaithful effort

Isabella, remember, again
That love has fall in a drain
Not only nothing to gain
But also broke the brain

You believe all what you say
As a role of a daily play
Surely, will see some day
How much of love you deny

I'm a Prince.
I live in castles all over from here to Germany,
I don't get what I want always.
I get what I need, somehow.
I got what I deserved.
I do not share,
I'm very greedy.
I earned this?
I earned your disgusting trash love?

My kingdom as fallen like a feather,
Torn down by the evil gnomes hunating me.
I've ruined my density,
These gnomes turn into a demon at the flick...

Seasons

back in the time when the leaves crunched under our feet
we kissed and the world stood still,
but as leaves fall so did we

like the frigid air was our relationship,
glances and looks exchanged and meaner ones received
but as ice thaws so did we

as the flowers blossomed the looks weren't as harsh
back in the state of love and happiness we were
and as the sun gets hotter so did we

our...

Fall

The leaves fall down
Why doesn't it make a sound ?
There is no need to frown
I'm not here to give your heart a wound
Look at the show, isn't it peaceful ?
Isn't that a reason to get cheerful ?

The Last Day of Summer

You left us on
the last day of Summer.
Today is the
first day of Fall.
My tears are
falling for you.
Good bye my baby,
my LUCKY CAT.

A fall in the Morning

The razor cold breeze whipped at the small child.

For the tall pines grew below the cliff—no help--

And offered their apologies in their own way,

Filling the air with their sharp centric scent

And swaying like an ocean of green in the wind.

But, that day, the boy could not tell trees from tears,

And he could not smell aught but what he tasted:

Just copper and sa...

Fall

The leaves fall

Tumbling to the ground

Each branch of the tree

Getting bare and brittle

Some leaves fall straight down

Some leaves get carried by the wind

I sit and watch

Each leaf on an adventure

Some broken

Some cracked

Some gone from view

Each one leaving a memory

On the big tree

That is now nude

And pure

My heart was once pure

And covered in a ge...

I Feel Fall

I'm in love.

A soft breeze rustles the leaves on the trees just outside my window.  All is silent save the ocean roaring in the distance at a rhythm too lovely for words.  And the wooden clock in the corner holds his pace, savoring this time of night when his tick tick tick is finally heard.  It's dark now, all around, except some photos sliding in and out on my computer screen.

I feel p...

Walk Through September and Make it to the Other Side

hear the sound of every rusted, blunted mace

as they greet and meet  through gravity’s lack of grace,

each at thirty two point two,

the fateful rate of this heaving season

where fruits misplace a summer’s trust to kiss the dirt

and, where they fall, corrode and stall the wheels of love

for those we find untouchable

while yet our hearts may still enmesh, b...
