The Heart Of Kindness
Love and sun rays come from a kind heart.
The flowers blossom in the Eden Garden.
Even in storms, wars, and horrible illness
Impossible to break the heart of kindness.
In the darkness, they shine like candles,
They are ready to know different forms.
They are always reliable handles,
They can overcome horrible storms,
They meet those who always bring happ...

Your cup
Beat the clock
Rush to the dock
Smash the shuttle
Give the rebuttle
Stand firm
Give the new terms
Crush the enemy
No more friends for me
Or pace yourself
Think of your health
Be kind and calm
Be free of alarm
Yoga it up
Fill up your cup
with love and sadness
Then stir it all up
And find your gladness

Ties That Bind
Ties that bind
Sticky, twisty, winding
Searching for my own path
Can’t seem to find it
Where do I go from here
All roads lead to blindness
My highest self calling
pushing me towards kindness
Inner child whispering
Keep pushing forward
Like a rabbit using it’s hind legs
I push back, asking the universe to
Untie me, kindly, please so I can find me.

Completely New
It’s usually said
sometime with dread
when excited there’s no head
and that’s very true
the brain often flew
wanting something new
can’t stay still very long
I’m up and quickly gone
feeling wonderfully strong
I’m a child of eight
who wont stop even at a gate
for this is going to be GREAT!!
and should you be able to stay
lots of fun co...

Cruelty to Boys
I saw you there sweating
while under the shade
screaming, "stop that now"
and you threw a book
thump
straight out in front of you
onto faded grass.
You ordered him, "Go!
Pick it up, you useless child"
A well-dressed boy in a school cap
cowered to gain the book
brought it back to you;
you dropped it
Twice!
So he had to pick it up again, and again
while you admonished him for ...

I have a heart too
When talking about rights, we often mistake rights, as something only humans can possess. But rights are nobody's property. Human being is not the only organism on Earth. We mustn't forget that we share Earth with numerous other species. Hence, every organism has got rights. But we don't respect these rights. Here's a poem that depicts the feelings of a few animals who've been captured and oppress...

Make A Space In Your Heart
Part One
Though your day is full
There’s so much to do
It’s a busy life
So hard being You
Make a space in your heart
Open out your mind
Take a moment apart
To see what you’ll find
Part Two
Because the world – has so many places
And in this world – there are so many faces
Waiting for a smile

Your Way Will Find You
I will defend your right
to say things that I don’t like
and though I may disagree
it doesn’t mean that I detest you
I’ll try my best to understand
how you reached that point of view
However uneasy listening
don’t bite your tongue
Let us see and hear you
come and speak freely
You may offend me
but then I’ll know we’re not in tune
Perhaps we’ll both learn something
if but how to be...

A Declaration
I'm sorry for the things I said
Sorry for the ways I hurt you.
I know sometimes I neglect you,
I find ways to desert you.
I didn't know you wanted me, I didn't know I was allowed
I didn't know I was allowed to love you and keep you for myself.
Your lights, your eyes, your body, your smile,
They're all for me now.
You'll never walk alone,
You'll never feel untouched,
You'll never ha...

What COVID-19 taught me
Generosity is trapped in a photo
shared on instagram and liked by a thousand
tearing privacy into tiny shards
Emotions are sold by traders
disguised as "reporters"
and kindness has become a drug,
supreme to Tylenol
while,
humanity is glorified as
a noun only to be used
on selected human "kinds"
and
that a racist can never be sobered

Smile
Many days I was in darkness
Many days I cried for help
Seeing no beauty in this world
I forgot what it felt like to smile and not feel pain
A simple act of kindness
Will you come here and slide with me?
A simple question
A simple task
Sliding down the slide made me smile
And feel the love of God

In short supply
Sometimes you just have to give yourself a break from feeling bitter and give yourself a chance to love something. This isn't just about romantic love.
The best kind of love
Is without conditions
No doubtful suspicions
Or painful omissions
There is no one reason
For the feeling
Never defending
Or pretending
It just is
With No Ending

The Mother To All
She’s a bright star, within the unlit night
Guiding others through, the tough thing, that we call life
Her strength is beyond admirable to all
And even if she should ever fall
She would somehow, pull though
The things, that to others, it would inevitably un-do
Her beauty and grace, isn’t just a way to save face
She's had to fight great wars, every single day
Even wh...

Stupid Cupid
I see you lurking about
making him say
sweet nothings
to lure me out.
This time
I am being smart,
walling off
my broken heart.
Using your
flaming arrows
to paint the sky.
Let the world know
you are really
not a nice guy.
You are a trickster
who makes girls cry
with your stupid lies.
My schooled soul
knows the truth
betrayed.
Romantic love
is an illusion,
pas...

The Broken Doll.
I'm just a broken doll, Unfortunately, no one can see. I was beaten and battered, But no one could have saved me.
It all began when I was alone on the shelf. The cruel world took me and I couldnt cry for help. I sowed my mouth shut and continued to smile. Nobody is coming to help, not for a long while.
I'm just a broken doll, Now everybody knows. Please forgive me for I do not know how your ...

Look Within
We blame others for a world full of sin
As we scream and shout about something that we read
But, to change the world you must first look within
How many lives could we save if only love was spread
Never using hateful words just trying to win
Just how many mouths could be fed
With all the makeup we use to cover our own skin
We wake up to a mirror full of dread
Following cele...

SOS Abort
I liar, that’s what I am
I roll my dice from in my hand
I sit upon my throne
Forged from pain
broken promises, pretty lies
They’re all the same
traction, I’m unable to gain
I’m slowly slipping into my old ways
I was getting better
Now it’s worse
Every Name I hear, I curse
But hers’
I cannot do that
she is perfect
she is sweet
I lay my life at her feet
