you are golden

roses are red, like a kiss, a stamp, a heart that has bled

or white, like doves, a dress, a jewel shining in the light

you, my friends, are yellow

not like dirty snow or old stains in carpet;

yellow like the sun that blinds us on our walk,

stars we gaze at from different windows until we look away,

The Lizard

the lizard lay

motionless

not dead,

just content

soaking in the golden rays

bathing in the summer warmth

nestled soundly

atop his rock

eyeing the rising sun

and minding the heat

But Oh..    another day  .... thrown away
                 another pain .... nothing changed

Late September Morn

I, dreamlost,

wake

to golden leaves of beech

sunlit

from my bed

as airdew clouds over the hedge

rise and vanish

as the eastern horizon above the valley

is lost, sunk

beneath dawndrifts of mist

not yet warmed to fade

beneath the clear blue sky;

the uncut grass of the dew-wet lawn,

droplet bent:

cool promise as

I, barefooted,

explore

the cusp of the...

Night is blinding

The road seems eternal with colorless blobs surrounding its path

With little to look at leaving me fearful and uncertain

It twists and turns as if a blowing curtain

The moon sheds some light

Too weak to guide my way

It sits and awaits to be chase by the sun

And reveal this dark world around

So I will follow this road till tomorrow

And begin once again

On a new horizon's...
