Hello Christine - these poems are excellent. I write about mental health as a service user. I also write about nature as I have a qualification in Environmental Studies. At the moment, amazingly, I am writing love poems! Please get in touch if you want to know more
I'll second that! What a lot of raunchy material there was last night. I've never heard anything quite like it before...even at the Tudor!
Your house looks very tidy up there - I could do with you coming round to mine!

Hi Chris,
Lovely to meet you and John at Hebden, hope you enjoyed it.

Christine, just read Service Users. How much I appreciate what and how you have written it. Absolutley great - would love to see you perform it. I can really hear it - the poem is crying to be read out loud. x
Hi Chris, thanks for commenting on "Empty". Sorry to hear about your friends's daughter's baby. I hope our poems manage to help a little xx
So when are you going to post your 'Take a Break' poem Chris? Loved it last night at the Tudor and this site could do with a laugh...
Thanks for your comment on my Carbon Footprint poem Christine. I was just enjoying your pole dancing job interview poem - it looks like something that could work really well in a live reading. If you're interested, I'm doing a free show at the Ilkley Literature Festival Fringe this year. The date's not definite yet, but probably on October 6th.
Keep those poems coming!
When are you going to post your pole dancing poem? The humour was so subtle - your best yet - I would love to read it.

Many thanks for your kind words on Quirky Verse - there's more where they came from. Read yours with interest, which sound disturbingly factual.
Hi Chris, thanks for your comment on Old Photographs. Lovely to see you up here! Enjoyed reading your work.... have you read this at the Tudor? It seems familiar. If not, I ll expect you to next time we see you!
Cate xx
Thanks for your lovely comment Christine - may assault your ears with it at the Tudor next time. If you are free on Saturday, I'm doing a stint on Jefferama's busking for beer tour and Cate is playing guitar. It would be great to see you and your lovely brother there.
