Pandora’s Box
When all you have left is hope
Locked away
In a jar
Hidden under the bed
Sucking in dust
Perhaps it was a good thing
You let go of all that hate.

I like this Nash. Simple but quite profound.

Thank you, Isobel and AE!
Hi Nash,
Simple profundity - just so long as you don't confuse it with the chamber pot! :-)
Regards,
A.E.
Love the simplicity of this Nash. Sometimes ideas/poems are so much better for that. They hit you more.
Thanks Ann
But then you have to take the dusty old jar out from under the bed and spread all that hope about! Good clear poem - well done ;-)
Thanks TC - genuinely lovely comment! Nash

Letting go of hate is always a good thing, but not always so easy to do, Lets hope this ray of light from Pandora's box spreads throughout WOL.
