Vocabulate Fremunctiously
It’s summer silly season and the bumblebees of doom (vuvuzelas) have been melting our brains so here’s a fun one:
Define these 10 words:
Crumid
Skussle
Coniphany
Glucker
Partet
Foona-Plate
Fildew
Salmy
Porm
Bips
They might be emotions, colours, types of people, objects, experiences, plants, animals, noises or whatever your individually peculiar brain comes up with.
You can leave it there and get yourself a nice refreshing glass of Pimms/diet coke/absinthe (delete as appropriate) or you can go on and
Write a piece either
(1) containing all of the words (you can presume the reader already knows your definitions), or
(2) write about a first hand experience of one of your definitions
P.S. If you enjoy this kind of thing and you haven’t already read it get hold of ‘The Meaning of Liff’ by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd , it is by far the best toilet reading I’ve ever had the joy of expelling myself to.

A Skussle of Bips prowl through crumid darkness,
coniphany voices send thoughts of Partet.
The Glucker they seek is salmy
and filled with porm.
Foona-Plate is almost upon them
and soon fildew will be theirs.
