I welcome sleep
slipping away
diminishing
as worlds expand
In this breath
I am connected
By solar plexus
In this blissful moment
I am the universe
I welcome sleep
slipping away
diminishing
as worlds expand
In this breath
I am connected
By solar plexus
In this blissful moment
I am the universe
I think this is really lovely, Carole. I have a slight preference for the second version except that I would include the word "blissful" from the first.
This is lovely Carole - it's hard to choose between the two - I do like the blissful moment of the first though - that moment of drifting off to sleep IS blissful. I'm a bit of an insomniac too so can appreciate this. A lovely conclusion - it does make you wonder why we all fear death so - nothing harder than life sometimes.
I like them both equally, have to say. Also have to say that I think you should get up and read one of these at the next wol - do it, do it, do it
Second one - is beautiful

It's lovely, Carole. I like the play on 'solar', very clever thought.
Blissful...mmm. Another insomniac here...agree with Darren, this could almost be used as a sleep aide!
Lovely :)

The more I read this the more I find myself relaxing. It has a 'meditational' feel and quality about it. :^)
If only - being at times an insomniac, this would indeed be blissful! You conjure this moment up so well.
Oooo - lovely!
