ah YES you totally got it Hazel ? this was an exercise in trying to create an archaic looking language to fit the archaic looking poem of a crows perspective on life. It was easily achieved using a phonetic translater - which uses emphasis on the words stresses - so reading it aloud is exactly the exercise needed to make it work - the 'translation' was more for those who simply tried to read it - rather than use the phonetics.

Hazel - thanks for the comment. You may be interested to know that I received a note from a WOL "moderator" to tell
me my poem had been removed because it did not comply
with WOL Codes of Conduct and furthermore that WOL was
not a platform m= for my political views. I think back on what I've seen on the site and the foul, often vituperative
language used in political attacks and criticisms - and I can
only wonder at the reasoning behind this decision/action.

Hi Hazel, thanks for your comments re "Plans on hold".
l use "thoughts" to act as a pivotal and personal expression of what would otherwise be a too factual, impersonal account of events.

Hi Hazel, my mother has that picture up in her kitchen and it reminded me of myself in old photos, although that kid would be a few years older than me. I was born in in 1953. Anyway, I posted it as a taster from my next book After Hours out in April from Cultured Llama.
