I can see the influence of your loss in the raw and poignant way you express yourself. My book 'My Father's Eyes Were Blue' is mainly about loss and I feel I can relate.

Thanks for your comment on " Nobody ever visits..." I tried to portray all the imagery and emotions mentioned in the comments received but placing personal experience of the subject matter to one side. Hopefully, i managed it.

I have wanted to get in touch with you before now but I have had Uni deadlines I onlyl just completed, my head felt like it was going to explode. Many thanks for your kind remarks..... Just as a matter of interest ..where abouts in Glasgow did ye stay....I lived there for 17 years or so....Kelvinside and then Milngavie... I love the city....I'm not so fond of Edinburgh....The cold sister....

I love the way you talk about the 'artless office enviornment' in your profile, the way you say that...I can feel the frustration. Maybe theres a poem there! ?

makes me feel of those moments of self analysis
or realisation of what has become

almost like a tide that came without notice
or perhaps a withdraw of the tide to leave nothing.

and you look at what you have, and it all seems empty.
