A Poem

How is a poem to be formed?

Put it together with a wealth of words;

that doesn’t sound so hard.

First, take a basket of imagination;

then augment it with an ounce of onomatopoeia,

and a magnum of metaphor;

perhaps a pinch of paradox,

with a sliver of simile,

and maybe some alliteration

with attitude.

Then blend it with a measure of meter,

and stir it all together.
