December I stand soft warm wet sand almost it buried my toes
as the waves role towards
Surfers on boards
Soft Whispers in wind as it blows

Eden rock dishes seasalt his kisses
Paradise this is my dear
Sea turtles at St barths
Oh what a great  start... to a wonderful Happy New year

Happy New Year to all at WOL! 

I Sailed across a stormy sea

I wonder what became of me?

Perhaps I settled in a far off land

Where palm trees grow through golden sand?

Or, do I still sail the many seas:

A ghost ship wearing the ghost of me?

Or, maybe, Atlantis dragged me to shore

And there I wander in untold awe?

In time, we build this ship ourselves, 

as the wind...

Before we moved home my wife and I hosted a New Year Party with usually over twenty attending.   We introduced the old fashioned entertainment of singing, poetry, story telling.   I wrote the following after the last one.

THE LONG ROOM AWAITED
GLITTERING AND GOLD
TABLE PREPARED TO ENSURE GUESTS WERE SATED
