The Bard’s Eye On Now
In "The Bard’s Eye on Now," Shakespeare’s spirit returns to behold the wonders and flaws of the modern age. With awe, he watches the rapid rise of technology, where thoughts soar like arrows across the sky and iron chariots race through the heavens. Yet, despite these marvels, he mourns the coldness of human hearts and the corruption of power, as greed and violence still plague mankind. This poem ...

Words Of Wisdom!
[ ] Faith is believing something without evidence and that's dead.
[ ] Action must be taken to get upright, beyond or ahead.
[ ] Pursue or open your mouth because close mouths don't get fed.
[ ] And if you can't work physically then mentally use your head.
[ ] Get out the bed.
[ ] You're living & death is for the dead.
[ ] Awaken, breathe, meditate & let your o...

Praise The Dreamers
Give Praise to the world,
To all those who'd been here before
Who made this world so much more
Than it had been.
For each tiny change,
If it took years, months or days,

So let's Give Praise to the world,
To all those who'd been here before
And maybe do one thing more
Because we share their dream

Points
Singular point of hope
balancing in one dimension
drive the stake deep, swing without reservations
for this is the beginning

loss of balance still precarious
point added placed correctly

A rotation for all of you.
Its' sweet chillness pressed against the nostrils,
Its' gentle warmth against the skin.
Allow the gaze of the star above,

Bitter
How can something so sweet, be so bitter?
Your love was something special, it has never withered.
The night sky comes creeping in as a shadow
As soon as the light is gone, my smile fades
The true side of my heart turns old and gray
For I do not wish to keep living this way
The bottle has been too friendly to me, these last couple days
Morning breaks, another night accompl...

Infirm Affectations
`
violent welts form on raising skin
crackled blisters spew invectives
brown curled grass pretend affection
warning label on confection
shut the door on maddening din
fettered brow pegged down with whispers
burnished brass collect intrusion
warranty voided by contusion
flush out and swab, dress and bandage
splint and cast - immobilise, recuperate
the shuffli...
