Final Appointment
I felt the walls
move in like
a Tortoise on speed
when you told
me that again.
I could hear
the birds stop singing.
I could hear
cars suddently stop.
Dogs stop barking
to be let in.
Cats no longer
scratching walls.
Trains no longer making
buildings shake
like a kettle
about to explode.
All I could hear
was my heart
with a faint beat
which was then
skittled down
like a strike
in a bowling alley
when you ...

For Silence
i want to join you asleep
at the edge off sunrise
and groan gently
across the breeze
into your eyebrows.
i want to carry you across
the finish line
in a camera shot finish
without you even
stirring slightly once.
want to score the winning goal
at wembley in injury time
and have you asleep
smiling on my shoulder
all the way home.
Want to look at the frozen tide
which is ca...

REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD ..
Revenge is a dish
best served cold
Even if it broke your heart
totally
I would try and advise you to
just get on with
your life.
You may tell me
you loved him with
all your heart
I would still try and
tell you to just get on
with your life.
You may scream and rant until
I am blue in the face
but I would still try
to tell you
to just walk away
and carry on

Edge of the World with Billy Mackenzie
There is magic here
sat alone in the
back of a hubbled
old waiting room
with a almost out
log fire
reflecting in the past.
There is a beauty
which certainly wasn't
somewhere over
the rainbow
or even
in the back of
your memories.
There is a tenderness
in the cold wind
blowing in a sea of dreams
that know if you
scream out loud
into the breeze
no-one will answer.
No-one will know
in the distance
as the snow tumbles down
i...

Wish
Wish
Sometimes he wishes
he was a hero
like Superman
and fly to the moon
in a few seconds
but he can't.
Other times he wishes
he was Spiderman
and climb up
a block of flats
quicker than the
naked eye can see
but he can't.
He's even on occasion
wished he could stretch
further than Mr. Fanastic
but he can't.
He can't.
He's me.
He's Andy N.
I don't have
any special powers
nor any amazing ability.
I can't fly
through the clo...

Forgotten Hero
I haven't thought
about flying
for a long time.
I haven't dreamed
of that moment
when I was alone
above the clouds
for a long time.
Haven't dreamed
of waking up in a room
surroundered in
blue and green grass
for more years
than I care
to remember.
I haven't walked
back into the past
nor scratched on the
doors of the future.
Not opened
up the secret door
at the back
o...

I THREW MY EX GIRLFRIEND'S
CHRISTMAS PRESENT AT THE WALL
And a lot like
Her lot
It rebounded
And hit me in the face.
I PLAYED FOOTBALL
WITH MY EX GIRLFRIEND'S
CHRISTMAS PRESENT
I fractured my foot
With the second kick
