Last Hope Of Redemption
Colour me deeply in high tension blue,
like the power lines that hang over you,
show the charred remnants of fleshy pink
which hint at what washed away in the sink.
Days of weeks and weeks of days pass by,
all I can do is cling on until I cease to cry,
knowing that pain is a way of life for too many,

Cyclops
Cyclops
Facing the world through his single myopic eye
Cyclops could not see the depths of perspective
those essential details that are there for you & I
The fixed stare from his unnatural gaze alarmed one & all
pity that poor guy with no balance in his views of life
can he help being a fascist with a mind so very small?

Attention Dear David
Dial up all your spin now and tell us some more of your lies,
but you know it won't save your party from a very big surprise,
for there are still more debts growing despite all of your cuts,
by the end of your term in power we'll fight for old shanty huts,
for the truth is our country owes much more than do the Greeks,
Nine times our GDP is what your chum Osborne...

Rebel With A Cause (v2)
I am a rebel against torture
I am a rebel against pain
I seek an end to hunger
I seek an end to the shame
The shame that comes from knowing
all those children dying without water
all those children dying without names
all those children dying from war
Why do men play their vicious games
why do those men pretend to serve God
when all they want is power ...
