A Poem
How is a poem to be formed?
Put it together with a wealth of words;
that doesn’t sound so hard.
First, take a basket of imagination;
then augment it with an ounce of onomatopoeia,
and a magnum of metaphor;
perhaps a pinch of paradox,
with a sliver of simile,
and maybe some alliteration
with attitude.
Then blend it with a measure of meter,
and stir it all together.
