Biography
Hello, my name is Em and I am a teenage poet. I have always found writing as my way of escaping the world or figuring out how I am truly feeling. Poetry has helped me in so many ways. I believe that words are so powerful and we can change the world with the right words. I hope you can relate to my work and you enjoy reading it. Thank you. Feel free to inbox me, I will be happy to talk and will be interested to look at some of your work!

Nearly a year.
Thank you for commenting on "I want you now" Emma, I appreciate your thoughts :) I was a little unsure about sharing this particular piece as it was written specifically for my muse, but she was happy to share it. :)
Best wishes, Dave
And a belated welcome to WOL from me too. :)
I'm sure you will enjoy the wealth of poetry to be found here and we will hopefully encourage you further. Though some 48 years have passed now, I was once a teenage poet too, finding my voice in questioning the Vietnam war among other things...
Best wishes, Dave
Hi Em, thank you for you comment and glad that you liked "Everything is full of you..." You have great talent and a tremendous potential as it shows in your "Red Room" which I very much enjoyed. Beautiful and simple way of expressing two hearts as one.
Hello Graham,
Thank you very much for welcoming me, you are so kind.
I am so excited to join this community of talented poets and writers. I love reading people's work and hope to check some of your work out soon.
Thank you again.
Hello Emma
Welcome to Write Out Loud.
I hope you enjoy the site. We're really looking forward to reading some of your work and I know that you will be warmly welcomed by other WOL-ers too.
Thanks for already uploading a picture of yourself.
It’s good to see what our fellow poets look like.
Have a good browse around, there’s lots going on and if you have the time to make some comments about the work of other poets please feel free. It’s the best way to get some constructive feedback about your own work too.
There’s always someone who’ll help you out with a problem, so just ask and someone will get back to you. It’s a friendly place, so welcome once again.
