If you want to see an image of J.D. You will see it in my poetry. Past the words, and through the smoke. There I sit, writing deep, or making a joke. Sharing my words, my mind is freed. My rhyme is inspired by the doctor, (Seuss). ...........And smoking weed.......... By J.D. Bardo

Thank you for your recent response to my comments, it was really kind and I doubt I deserve the praise but it was so nice to know that I haven't wrong-stepped too much here at WOL as I really value your writing and character and want to continue in our acquaintance that I'd like to hope will head towards friendship over time. ?

Thanks for reading "Zombie Halloween"
and thanks for your comment.
Are you a Zombie?
Yes Bardo. Such is a rarity in today's time. But desires keeps the flames of hope burning.
May the mankind be blessed. ?

Thanks for reading "Death Sentence",
It is scary and almost mean
what we have done to our elders.
Let the family decide ! Not government!

JD, appreciate your Likes on my recent work. I note you hail from the States where I visited on 2 occasions and very much enjoyed.
You have some great examples of muse writing in your neck of the woods - and what is a small pond like the Atlantic, when poised quills are ready for scratching away at the parchment.
Will certainly be looking in at some of your work. Thanks again for getting in touch.
Blessings.

Your poems are fine
and rhyme, although
their rhyming scheme's
a little slow,
to right a poem
here's what we know
break out the words
break out the Bordeaux!
?
JD.,
Thank you for your message and complimentary words. It was very kind of you. I also find your poetry interesting and look forward to reading more. I share your need to be surrounded by the 'right people'. Those with whom we can relate to on a more meaningful level. I have been on WOL for approximately four years and log in almost every day. It was this site that inspired me to compile my first book of poems.
Your style of writing speaks of someone sensitive to life in its many aspects. Your ability to rhyme is very good. Your sheer ability to express yourself comes across as being genuine. You must keep writing as I believe you have a lot to say that people will want to read.
Maybe it would be a good idea for us to correspond via our e mail addresses and thus get to know each other better.

why the Maple leaf
are you in Canada?
JD.,
Thanks for commenting on my poems. I really appreciate this from someone who writes well yourself. I live on the edge of a small town where hedgehogs and squirrels are all over the place preparing for winter. They drive my dogs bananas. I am also pleased you enjoyed Faces in the shadows in which I revisit my youth when life was a furtive existence. But fun also. (wow)
Keep writing mate. I look forward to reading more of your work and perhaps getting to know you better.
