Debt
Their eyes don't meet with mine,
There's a full stop to the routine
Chatter at quarter past nine,
An elderly heart whines
For the savings lost
On fruitless mines,
I get to hear furious yells
More than the temple bells,
It's a heartbreak weather altogether;
One by one, we lose all our feathers.
The food is served unequally
And there's more on my plate;

Pang of Dread
A heated argument
Takes a drastic turn
As things fade into black,
And as the white comes back,
One regretfully stands out
The barricaded door,
And with utmost concern
Knocks and knocks and knocks
Expecting some response;
On the other side of the door,
Water splashes and rinses
Blood, a lot of blood,
And the dreadful flood
Seaps through the door gap.

Fall From Grace
As the morning goes into
The arms of the evening,
And the sky turns pink,
Not all bonds stay linked;
One's wing kisses another's,
And the clock fails to cling,
And the time drops, a little too fast,
As two residents of air
Fall from grace
To forever rest
On the earth's surface.

And no matter what the cost,
I'd limitlessly spend every
Pound and dollar and ruppee
To witness this luminous feeling.
I reckon there's no bet...

Let Be
Harsh spotlight penetrates
Through the high tides
To track the underwater stars
And to store them in the jars.
Gadgets drown and scatter
To gauge the deep underwater;
Keen cam-eyes spot some light
And share the resplendent sight.
In the unravelling of fate, a pearl
That denies to reciprocate with
The light is left alone in the water,
Only for it to li...

Have You?
I walk out into the lush green
To a tranquilizing Kargeen,
When a far gunshot shakes my soul
And the delicate trees lose their moles.
In the presence of whose reign
Is the humanity drowning in vain?
Some depend on War and Peace
To realise the pragmatic fact that
Conflicts can be dealt with ease,
While some still continued to tease,
Others relentlessly aimed t...
