Climate change (and us?) is a masterpiece. It's a true reflection of what we've made this world and what we have become. The Earth ought to be a beautiful place, one full of life and peace. But the humans' wars against nature have played a good big role in exhausting the beauty and resources of this planet.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts for my work "Lifeline of pets and us". Yes, it is sad our pets departs from the world early. Might be because they love us lot more than how much we love them and they can't bear if we depart before them and hence they have short life span. Moreover for many people pets are not family but a piece of entertainment whom they can abandon like furniture as per their convenience. And that is why almighty calls the pure soul early so they don't have to bear earthly pain.

to be back in the womb,
for times are bad
hearts full of gloom,
still the bell tolls
we ask for whom,
for all of us
we may assume.

HI Keith,
In 2017 you commented on one of my poems. It's been a long time since I've wrote, and I have grown since then. I want to thank you for your kind words. It truly means a lot to me that you took more than a moment to consider my words during that time. I am now in a place of continued growth and becoming a better version of myself.
Thanks again Keith
Respectfully,
Jason

Keith,
Thank you for appreciating my words.
I'm glad that you agree with my thoughts. Its upsetting to see someone in deep trouble and it hurts like hell when you aren't able to help them. Words of condolence and encouragement can't do what kind actions can.
We do care and love irrespective of colour, creed, caste, religion, races and nation. I'm glad this is a sweet alternative to all the plight.
Love n Peace
MG

I live not far from Warmington, which is the setting for this poem. I live in a larger town only a few miles away. A delightful county second only to one of its neighbours.

Thank you Graham for your Thanksgiving Greeting.
It's not everyday you get a word of encouragement, much less from so far away.
It's a shame you don't have real turkey. It is delicious.
You should get one to raise. They are easy to keep
but quite dumb. I think you could keep one in your spare
bedroom or in the hallway of your "Flat", if that's what you
have. Don't all Englishmen have Flats?
I will think of you as I eat my Turkey today along with dressing
and cranberry sauce. But, I won't think of you too long,
I'm going for seconds and have to be fast! hahaha

dk.,
Thanks. I associate with both the high and low, whatever that means. Praise where praise is due and similarly so with criticism which needs to be constructive and not negative. Poetry and those who write it are strong individuals with well thought out ideas and the innate ability to describe what we see and our thoughts. We are both no exceptions to this. Write what you feel inspired to write, avoid the frivolous and write with pen and paper. The hand is connected to the arm which is in turn connected to the body which holds the mind. Poetry needs to flow from the mind and does not come well from stabbing away at key boards and peering into screens with bleary eyes.

You write with a great passion identifying your soul as your real and true identity. You have or are perhaps passing through the experience of coming to know yourself, the inner self. This is an edifying process as it will be of assistance to you in your life and writing. I have read through a number of your poems which are impressive. You have the spirit of a writer and I look forward to reading more of your work.
Thank you for becoming a member of this site as you will be an inspiration to others.

I read with growing interest your poem 1990. Somehow it was akin to reading something which resembled a literary frieze which left me wanting to meet and speak with the man with the black beard and Russian hat. He cuts an enigmatic figure. You possess a unique style of writing which is quite fascinating. At times it is disjointed but the reader is spurred on with renewed interest. I have read some of your work so far and look forward to more.
Thank you for this
