Thanks for your comment Melanie. I was deeply moved by one of your poems but just couldn't put into words how it made me feel. Raw poetry tends to be like that on here. It sometimes attracts less comments cos people don't know what to say.
On a lighter note, I'm loving your hair colour - it is bright and young and vibrant. Just what the me now, should have done back in my youth. I it is good to see you enjoying WOL. Take care.
Isobel x

Haha, thanks. Yes, I often get one or two people coming up to me disgraced that I can hate such a well loved drink so much. Can't win 'em all though.
I love your poem by the way, it's filled with some very poignant images.

Hi Melanie, The chat facility usually works if you are very patient. A 'typing' sound effect will occur when you get a reply. The temptation is to think "oh the bloody thing isnt working" and click off or try to reconnect, don't just hang on in there if poss , its not ideal I know. Win (Admin)

Hello Melanie
Thanks for your kind thoughts on Senior, Haircut and my masterpiece of epic verse, Breakfast of Champions.
You say, up top, that you're not a poet; well - as you can see, neither am I.
So get posting.

HI Melanie,
And a belated welcome to the strange and diverse world that is WOL.
Thanks for your comment re Neil. Any response is much appreciated. I have been reading your work too. I don't usually like to comment without some kind of introduction or invitation. What strikes me most about it is that it almost invariably seems to have a sting in the tail. That's a good thing in my book; a poet should always have surprise in their armoury. I hope you enjoy it here and make many new friends. I have found it to be a great opportunity to learn, discuss - and even have a laugh with like-minded people.
Loving your hair by the way - I have always had a thing for redheads!
Regards,
A.E.
