The Biggest Loser Ever!

In a world where success seems reserved for the cunning and the ruthless, I am the world’s biggest loser—the one who rises each morning, goes to work, and takes pride in self-reliance, while many take the easy route, relying on welfare or cutting corners. I shoulder my responsibilities, pay my bills, meet every expectation, and treat others with respect, only to watch those who ignore these values...

Resentment

Oh, look how far I've fallen
Like Icarus with his waxed wings
Melted by the burning desire; fell hard not soften
What does my actions do? nothing, it brings

Oh, who do I point my fingers to?
It does nothing but makes it more grim
Surrounded by shadow of guilt, no hope nor light's dim
Thoughts are loud, i just might cut a limb

Everyday I try, everyday I submit
I speak good deeds yet ...

The Fire

you lay numb

hypotherminc, dying

the fire, it dances

taunting, flickering, in and out

like hope

hope that it may help

help to that your frozen fingertips

slow your chattering teeth

soothe, ebb the icy grasp of the violent, pulsing

piercing burning

that is your fear and your doubt and denial

the drowning, whispering, screaming

wave that comes crashing

beating ...

Bonds

My life is like skyfall, I wonder if I am Mr Bond,

This is a story of unfixed bonds, as I watch them fall apart.

paternal or maternal, some internal, it’s forever chaos.

Wonder whose funeral will I attend first,

Mine or theirs, I pray it's not mine.

Something you are fond of its called a bond,

Mine lately feel faded, don't know if they are bladed yet.

I see us back on our jade...

Regret

I watched myself turn to something,

A person I was afraid to be.

Swallowed by anger, hatred and resentment,

I kept my head high for too long,

I couldn't bear what I was.

A retard and a drunkard with a lost soul,

Sold into trauma trying to please people.

Put them at ease, subtle hypnosis.

Pain, regret and depression served,

Don't know if that's karma saved for me.

T...

Written in anger and confusion

Should the feelings of guilt

outweigh those of resentment?

Is the fear of loneliness

worth more than fear of rage?

Is it wrong to long for simplicity

and abandon the search for contentment?

Is it right to write words of anger

on a blank, unforgiving page?

Is it wise to seek solace in poetry

when every act of writing

is seen as an act of selfishness

that can ne...

Ich Du

“Ich du, Ich du!”

Those words meant nothing to you.

Nought but bindings

Tethering me to you.

Your loving face turned hard,

Your gaze hurting me like barbs.

“Ich du, Ich du!”

The words that bind me to you.

Your  ghastly glare

Evoking within me so much fear.

“I truly do love you dear,”

Barely but a long-lost whisper in my ears.

Your gentle touch tur...
