Silent Echoes

Silent echoes

Haunting, teasing the light dust

Transparent and illuminating

The dark parts of your soul's lust

Squirming to hide

Robust and on stride

The echoes surround you

The full version, not the 'abridged' you

Caring is to linger amongst the light

Present and moving, not to right

It's apparentness if bathed in fright

An escape to nowhere in the night

Glandma

She is chic

She is peak

She is the way you ought to speak

For she is Glandma

She has kids who have kids

But she doesn't let that put her in the skids

She is the glamourous grandma

She is Glandma

She is rich and wealthy in knowledge

She has an enviable beautiful heritage

She doesn't care about grammar

For she is Glandma

You'll take her bins out and...

Presently Pheasantly

Struck again but not struck off

What I'm looking for is some real time off

Most creatures search for peace

But what I want is to be left alone in peices

That impact was a pitiful graze leaving me in dissaray

But still alive am I, to my dismay

Many lives have I now lived, first human, now to this

A never ending cycle of living unless I can get one last hit

What did...

Elbows

"It's all elbows tonight!', my mind says at the sight

Not since the 90s has there been such a fight

For drink holders and the resting of arms in the dark of night

The pictures snap into view as elbows fight for the right

I suppose the fear of breath made it uneasy

For elbows to flex, bend and get teasy

The memories of a full cinema are dusty

Like a giant unscrupulous scre...

Sheet metal city

Ruin, destruction, fire and fear

Now I know why they ran from here

The wounded and the dying lay under ground

Undergrowth in abundance spreading all around

Fizzing and whirring through the air, it gets closer and closer to end your fear

Mounds that were cities, ash that were people melt into snow

The seasons are two, left tattered and strewn

In this apocolyptic sight...

Words from the hill

Words fall hard from the man on top of the hill

Spilling and oosing from a makeshift bill

67 dead to start the day

And before the grief, what does he say?

EDI must somehow be blamed

"because I have common sense"?

Where is my border fence?

It's the only way to be safe and secure from this madness

The lies, deciet, and the ultimate sadness

67 grieving families lost

Trekking

The greatest show on television

A patchwork quilt with such great vision

From black and white to colour

A cancelled show to fans fervor

Saved for another day

On the big screen in another way

Bigger bolder and braver

With a new ship to savour

Multiple shows to follow

With Gene's loss and fan's sorrow

The big bird took flight into the night

Leaving us hop...

Regardless of reason

Fostering fools in radiant light

Scrabbling screws in a frightened night

Awkward apparitions abolish and bait

All with an askewed, vitrioled hate

Bismark and Bottony all the day

Sundried and kissed all the way

On course with treason

Regardless of reason

An emptied mind on paper thin

Asked and answered in a screw-top tin

Scheduled and pranced on a pin heads nose

Lepers on the hill

Across a road, a tranquil sight

Where animals graze to a shepherds delight

In the warm glow of a spring's dawn

A summer's heat is soon to be born

But across this tranquil hill

Is where the "looney's" roam and madness spills

Torn from family's and lost to war

Their minds scream through a padded door

Nurses rush to aid the wounded

Thrashing and yelling - who woul...

Stoney garden

Toys, mugs and letters dress this stoney garden

In lines that would not impress a cold, gnarled sargent

Stones stagger around like crooked teeth

Adorned with names, chocolates and festive wreaths

The view is long, sprawling forever

Lost but knowing in its endevour

The living are still, smiling through their solemness

Clutching Birthday cards with Christmas sadness
