Somewhere in Michigan that night
Under the stars
Local highway, I heard the cars
Crickets chirping bars
Spaced out

A Rose By Any Other Name
A Rose By Any Other Name
If I were a doctor
Treating your wounds
And infections
Your bile and liver
You would welcome me
If I were a restaurateur
Feeding you for free
Flavouring your drinks
Would you not welcome me?
I am clockmaker
Yellow gold
Like summer sun
I drift
On the breeze
And still
You do not welcome me
I am the l...

Just a teenager
Grind it
Pack it
Light it
Inhale it
Exhale it
And just like that
I feel lighter, calmer, happier
Even though, I am technically a criminal
But in reality, I am just a teenager
I’m just a teenager that needs a break from the
mental health issues that seem to rattle around
my overcrowded skull

It's Easier Not to Care
Despite me wishing it was different, you and I are more alike than not. But the biggest difference between us is you only care about yourself.
You choose to drink, so you can forget, while I smoke up to not care.
Not care about the millions of times you showed up late, drunk, or both. If you didn't cancel.
Not care about the times you've said things I know you don't mean, because it's not...

read poetry while high
Double fuck
hit with some starry metaphor like a hammer smash
can taste the iron of proxima's atmosphere
tangy on a tongue like steak was slapped.
In jest I speak but truly sweet holy fuck
when those twisted sibilant sentences scathe and scrape around the cranial pits.

to you,
i am nothing.
every memory
every laugh
every smile
every tear
every mistake
every argument
every compliment
is nothing.
i could never compare
to weed
according to you.
i could never compare
to autism and down syndrome jokes
according to you.
my love for you
the fact that you're my best friend
the things you've help...

Just another night
Wrapped in whiskey
Tender words roll off your tongue
like how I roll this blunt for us
Car ride to a party we'd rather skip
Turns into an L ride that helps us tolerate
the people you call your friends
You allow alcohol to consume you
And I act like high is the new sober so you let me drive
Stumbling like you can feel the earth's rotation
I play the pillar
the earth's...

Splendid Is The Flower
Splendid Is The Flower
if I make something beautiful
will you gently touch it
with your perspective
or will you taint it
with a vengeful critics tongue
am I qualified
to judge you
either way
if I make something beautiful
will you take the time
to kiss it with your praise
or will you rip it to shreds
with your own experience
are you qual...

A Weed
Yesterday I saw a weed,
proud and tall as a tower,
But it will be cut down soon,
Because it was not made a flower.
You see, a flower is considered pretty;
It pleases the eye with form and color.
But a weed is considered ugly,
And dares to spread, and cover.
So they say it is a choking plant,
And consider it a bother.
But a flower chokes just as well,
It is just has the decency to be...

Like whiskey aged
Mellowed
Slowed down
Old school
Remembered for it’s bite
Some flavors are acquired taste
Between dark history
And magic fairies
Is a legacy of ghosts
Who will not be stilled
By death or passage into
Other dimensions
Weeds are designated
By those with shallo...
