Ah yes, the big Magic is the important one.
Thalia is important uppercase Muse Thalia not the ordinary lowercase common garden variety muse. She insisted (actually kicked up a bit of a fuss. Give me my proper status she said. I obliged. Gotta keep the woman happy). Yep, she's pure Magic......

Thanks for reading Don, I appreciate your comments. Well, there is small magic and big Magic, it's just about putting the emphasis on it.
Now, is your Muse the one who resides in your mind, Thalia for instance? whilst other forms of muse arrive from external stimuli?

Dead right, Brian. Actually it was The Grateful Dead, Don. And you are quite right, Kev; it should be a no-score draw.

Just one (possible) correction, if I may be so bold. Surely as both you and your intended victim are both still standing that makes it a no-score draw.
Never heard the phrase get-go, but you can bet I'll start using it from now on.
Cheers Kevin

Breaking news
"Prime Minister to be referred to police watchdog,"
Breaking news on the front page of The Guardian blog.
Tied up with a relationship at his time as the London mayor.
To be fair Boris did many good things while he was there.
Is this a politically motivated attack,
Now that in Parliament he is back?
Antagonism is sat next to many M.P.s,
Boris will certainly not feel at ease.
Methinks another referendum will end up remain,
Back in the European Union after a three year strain.

Love the melodic flow and message created by your words.
I had to chuckle, after I read the second stanza twice.
Americans and British folk pronounce 'again' different.
You folks pronounce the hard A.
Americans generally do not.
I was married to a Brit.

Wonderfully descriptive! I fully appreciate the intricate details in this. Spider webs have always been so fascinating to me. Masterful craftsmanship goes into creating them, and yet, humans notice them most when accidentally walking into them or clearing them out of the way. Your spiders-to-poets comparison is beautiful!

Plenty of constructive advice in this verse for Boris methinks.

I like the juxtaposition of writing about something so serious, but doing so in a rhyming pattern. Most of this poem actually read to me like a Dr. Seuss book, so it felt playful, even though the subject matter was not. In that sense, it was almost like a song you'd sing to children as a warning to children about Charlie. Great work!

I love the work of assistance dogs in schools, I really do believe it is the way forward. I used to read to my own black Labrador when I was a kid, and he always managed to look at me as if he was interested, it was encouraging. Whatever your age dogs can teach you a lot.
