HI Pete,
Brooms? Not sure about that one, but I guess it could be true for some. Why not a cucumber?Seems more realistic in shape and size. Great poem made me LOL, and the black mamba freaks me out, watched a real life show on that type of snake, had bad deams, never watch snake shows before bed.Well my tricep is almost as big as yours! great rant Pete!

Hi Dermot, just want to say i think you did a fantastic job as compere on Thursday at the Tudor. You managed to keep us all entertained with both your own work and your repertoire.
God only knows how you rattled off so many introductions in flowing extracts from their work, but well done. It was a pleasure to meet you and hope to see you again soon.
Lots o love. Janet.xx

Dear Melissa

The poem has deep psychological base. It is written in a way that shows the walls holding you in. There are walls that keeping each of us that way, feeling somewhat imprisoned to our own body. Fabulous thought provoking imagination for the reader. One day those wall will come down…Smile.

GREAT POEM!

Thank you for your wonderful comment on my poem "A NOTE."

I'm just catching up (been a busy week with Interpol on Tuesday and Mia's Below the Belt play last night), and will have to read this again.

Another interesting concept and I'm not sure whether I think it should be a poem or short story, or whether it matters! I love some of the lines in it anyway, ignore my ramblings and keep up the good work, cheers Jeffarambling!

Hi Darren, I had the pleasure of of some 'Below the Belt' action on Thursday night!

I have to say it's one of the most enjoyable nights I've had in a long time, the play of course, the chance to chat with Mia and the cast and the whole atmosphere of the event. You have done a fitting tribute here and I can only echo what you have written, well done Mia and Co!

As far as the play was concerned, it was down right rude! Fantastic! Considering the content, it was (I think) a brave thing to do, I thought Mia made a bold move doing this and really stuck her neck out. If this is a sign of her work then she will be arrested very soon!

I actually think it worked well though because it was done in poetry, and even though it was risque (so no problem for me!) no-one would have been offended. Which considering some of the content would have had Chubby Brown thinking twice, is a tribute to the way it was written and performed.

I thought the sex therapist theme was very funny. Diane was an excellent character and reminded me of a lady from the Dear John sitcom who always said 'are there any sexual problems'! Brilliant performances by all, they should be proud to have been part of it!

As I said it was great to meet Mia and have a chat with Tracey and Emma. All in all a truly excellent evenings entertainment. I'm not surprised to hear that you enjoyed it as much as me and my friends.

I wish Mia and the others all the best for the future and I will be proud to say I knew them when they played the Waldorf!! Cheers Jeff

Hi Mia, i just want to say congratulations on your play, I (and my friends) thought that it was excellent, very funny and true to life, only nobody likes to say cos they're too embarrassed. I'll put a comment on Darren's review which is a thoroughly deserved tribute!

For your first play (not that you would have known) it was quite excellent. I thought you stuck your neck out with this considering the content, it was (I think) a brave thing to do, well done. I think it worked because it was in poetry, and even though it was down right rude (so no problem for me understanding it!) no-one would have been offended, whens the next one!

It was great to meet you and hope to see you again soon, I'll read some of the snippets from the show again now I've had it live, so to speak! Ha, nice to chat to Tracey and Emma too. If you get chance to look at my stuff I would appreciate your opinion, best wishes Jeffarama! XX

Hello, Richard

Your poem shows many pictures not just one. I have picture your Footsteps in each stanza. So many of those in life; Can you imagine our feet walking each day how many steps we would print if one to add the prints from the entire life span. Very creative thought provoking write; enjoyed reading.

Hiya Jeff, sorry i've not been in touch much recently. Been busy.
Wigan was a great night. It did kick off a bit late though and because it was a dry night, most of the younger end were in the outside area. The poetry can still be heard but it does feel as though they are not as interactive listening to others.
Hope you 've enjoyed your Manchester gigs and Hebden bridge. I am planning on attending the next Howcroft gig so hopefully i'll meet you soon.
Thankyou as always for your lovely comments.

Hello, Richard

Your poem has deep emotional base. Well written in a form to be presented in a open microphone and on the stage. It is a play and a dramt as well. You have captured the most trgic feeling of a person who is dying. It shows the feeling of passages in his life the love girfriend, wife divorce, a mistress etc...I see this partially as a dark write. Well arranged and written with a passion of a true poet -Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the comment on my latest” Beautiful Life”poem.

I did read it the other day but it didn't make much sense to me.
When i looked again today, i found i was scrolling through it a section at a time.
Doing that helped the punctuation which is missing throughout.
