Hello, Antonio

Do not know how much fiction in your poem and how much you based on truth. To be honest I am allergic to Chlorine and cannot swim at all in the local swimming pools. I do not like swimming either so I agree with you on the subject... Well written!
Now I understand why one of my sons did not like to swim either...Smile

I like your poetry. There are lots said in your poems about the real life in today’s World. You are unique and creative writer. Yes indeed, man is the one who destroys many natural things, like the Rain Forest for just one example...Thought provoking and educational write.

Hello Dai.
I like the idea of the last call of the lark.

It made me think hmmm wonder if the lark is really saying he will be back.

Man the virus must change if he is to survive.
Nature will always find a way.
If someon argues we are the next step of evolution I would argue back and say that even in nature there are glitches.

For all our good
for all our fantastic achievements, we let ourselves down for these materiel gains.

To destroy a forest is criminal to our planet.

Dai,

I think nature will strike back.

Well done with this poem

It got me thinking and on a roll.
I'm off to write.
Please
any more eco / animal stuff for me to read?

thanks for your words

Peter

If I was a fruit machine
I'd want you to nudge me
If I was the victor
I'd want you to begrudge me
If I was a poet
I'd want you to judge me
But I'm just a thief
A lyrical gangster
- so just kill me

No but seriously, seriously I think this is my favourite poem on here

Hello, Shelly

Beautiful ‘Nature escape’ poem- I love the colours of summer and the fall as well.

"The snow covers all that surrounds us
And now we eat nuts and melt ice; but in sorrow
We made love one last time
And then we wrote this
For we know we won't 'be here' tomorrow"

You have ended the poem in a wonderful rhyme, and wrapped in a lot of truth.

I am going to quote this... :)

"Enjoy every moment in life as the next day is not promised to us"

Thank you,
Zuzanna

Hiya Mia

In work - skiving - and decided to read your new poems...

So glad I did. You've really cheered me up... You've made an old man very happy... Erm... Can we agree that I like your poems in a manner that doesn't make me sound like a perv?

Great. Porn.

F(ine) art's sub-title (Done as a posh bird) made me laugh out loud. And The liver is evil and must be punished reads well off the page, though it'd be worthwhile thinking about putting some audio samples of your work up here - you perform it well too. Both of your poems cover an important area of poetry rarely addressed. Namely - getting pissed; being sick; bad sex and farting. Well done! I'd like to see Larkin write stuff like that - given that he's dead.

And just WHAT are you looking up at in that new photo of yours?!

No. Wait. Don't answer that.

Steve

The poem shows that you have quite a lot on your mind at present time. On the other hand, it is just another imaginative write. I found poems sort of release of some thoughts that occupy my mind and the writing brings a feelings of freedom to my busy mind.
