The 'Golden Porridge Gun' is awarded to Mr Peter Crompton. Many layers indeed. The phallic symbols, the unnecessary penetration and soiling of a beautiful thing for Man's own gratification and nothing much else. The anti-climatical experience felt by Nations...Onwards towards Mars. The girl standing at the bar sipping her Astro cocktails saying silently, "Come and get me Big Boys.
Unmanned probing is good - but not like the real thing".
Love it.

Hello Mr. Malpoet
Beautifully written with a great advice to the beautiful animal - The Bull.

HI, Richard
Beautiful entry! Loved the romantic stanza.
"A poet walks across the shore,
Shoeless, reciting a song
The beach is empty, the sea
Crashing against the rocks,
Washes up a beautiful woman
She’s naked
Golden hair, white skin,
An English rose
He hair covers her soft breasts
He gives her mouth to mouth
She coughs, chokes,
Sea water leaves her lungs.
She gasps and falls into his arms.
Angel eyes look into his,
His hands run down her face."
*Then the ending well wrapped.*
"She bathes him in the calm sea,
Under the skies watchful eye,
He is baptised,"
Excellent poem - pleasure to read.!
Kind Regards,
Zuzanna

Hey Hannah, I love this poem. It is very atmospheric: the joy of colour against the drab, harsh, inhospitable background of this urban churchyard. Your eyes were painted, almost like rose-tinted specs giving you a brighter perspective on an otherwise sombre place with a sombre name, though you don't menton it: Blackley: the old ICI dyeworks.
favourite lines: we watched the stars switch on, writing the dyeworks into the sky.

'pacing on puffed out feet'
nice layer and connection
(puffed out reminded me of a breeding ritual! )
many connections
I was curious to the absent father
made me wonder with your experience
if many were alone in birth
I saw the landing as the arrival
i like the puzzles of poetry
our own intepretations
thanks!

Hello, Belinda
Wow! Your poem shows a lot of different cultural differences in a life style. I almost want to ask...Have you been living in Japan.
You have described quite well few scenes that I came across, hosting Foreign students for the English language during summer vacations.
‘We Japanese aim to please’ - show willing.
I have picked this line as it really shows the way of politeness in their culture.
Very creative and thought provoking write:
Enjoyed reading - It shows a lot of truth.
Warm Regards,
Zuzanna

Hi, Darren
Well, perhaps we look at life from different angles. Not all will be able to get that perfection. There will be some obstacles and hardships that one encounters. The poem has a lot of life WISDOM’
I run through the garden,
a labyrinth
of my life,
and still
I have not found
my center yet.
Every day to discover and continue what life offers. Agree with your opinion, the above stanza makes perfect sense - we run in life like in a Labyrinth - that was what I had in mind - All makes perfect sense!… Thank you...Zuzanna

Hello Carol ~ All your poems are very creative. You have a vivid imagination and fantastic mind that creates all sorts of writes. Did enjoy the futuristic poem the Year "2020"-Creative vivid and tasty with all those Cyber fruits etc...
"The gift
Spread your arms to catch the wind
Keep the rain in the skies
Absorb sunlight through palms open
To air unhindered
And sweep the moon on its side
Fill it with pity
Set it free
Let it fall to earth
Accepted,
The gift of experience"
THE GIFT"' - It is somehow my favourite.
Fabulous Poetess you are!!
It is great pleasure to read your words.
Sorry for the loss of your little four legged friend.

Thanks for your encouraging words about my poem 'hurt'. I do tend to try and write from within and it seems that your poetry too is inspired by emotional events that still sound pretty raw.
Poetry is a conduit into many worlds and when your emotion travels with you it makes the writing and the reading process that much more enjoyable. Great stuff to read. I can't say that i agree with Zuzanna on it all making sense. I get a feeling of confusion or a hesitation about something. Mixed emotion tied to a decision in life. Listen me - i sound like Russell Grant the Astrologer!
