How exciting looking forward to reading and hearing them all.
BTW
Ordered myself a new copy of flower fairies and wrote a poem, thanks for bringing back a memory.

thanx for the 'likes'.
Yes Julie - it's my intention to record these poems as songs and put them out as an album with accompanying illustrated book - tentative title of the the collection is 'Crow Lore' based upon an earlier poem/song that I recorded (which I intend to re-record) titled 'Cycle Of The Scarecrow'

It's hard enough just to get a review - of any sort!
I enjoyed this lemon-sucking piece, just close enough to reality perhaps.

Droll - with some sense added! Certainly there are times when I
can imagine the advice "Do not exceed the stated dose" with some
I see offered for consumption. ?

This is about a rape. Not a ex lover but the things I try and forget but never goes away for I was a kid and the woman was only 17.
She was my Goddess and she only hurt me.

Thanks for liking Stephen A and Kishore, most grateful.
Some of that data is now coming in for close scrutiny by people outside the inner sanctum, peeling back the layers of received policy wisdom. So thanks for being onboard for this Brian, Stephen G , Paul and Mark.

Although not a follower of either team I can understand the elation.
With its rhythm in mind this might be called "The Crowing Calypso".

Yes, thanks Philipos. The area near Fenchurch Street is very interesting and full of history. You can turn one way for Aldgate, the other way for the Bank of England or double back to the Tower of London. Fascinating things to see everywhere.

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I suppose we have to pick our battles, so to speak. John, I think it's better to binge watch the films (about 24 hours including extras).

"Broken bottles in her closet"
"I was just cancer that she put back"
"It's on the skin you fucked
So does it feel good knowing the seed is gone? "
These lines are intensely hateful, good motivator to move on. Holding head up high.
The mountain of shit is yours to keep or clean away.
You should clean your mind. You still have time.?

Many tales could be told of Fenchurch Street in a yesteryear capacity when smog lay thick and the various city characters are still recalled by some of us in the older brigade - I often chortle about them sometimes.
Occasionally I would be invited into the Mansion House for a cuppa and a sit down but only by the security guard wanting a natter as the city ghosts perambulated outside, sensed but unseen.
Further along towards St Pauls could be found the buried remains of the famous poet John Dunne, who was undone and imprisoned for a while for marrying the daughter of a tycoon without permission of the dad.
Of course all was forgiven, and Dunne was later ordained Dean of this famous cathedral. I am quite fond of his work even to this day.
City events often feature in my memory.
Thanks for reminding me of some.
