I love this! I feel more wild when I’m out in the woods. I would spend my days there as a child.
One of my favorite lines is “I always wave back.” Thats so great.

Paul, I’ve been working on that. I grew up in the church being told what and how I had to believe. I’m finding things out on my own. I prayed years ago that my faith would be authentic and I believe God would have it that way.
I’m running ahead trying to catch up with you.

following your analogy:
a gatecrasher turns up at my daughter's (don't have one) wedding or wife's (have one) birthday party.
They have been used and abused - are starving - have vulnerable children and may be shot if I kick them out and send them home.
So yes - I would let them in, feed them and try to help them stay safe.
What the fuck is wrong with people who wouldn't? ????

Just want the process followed Ian :
1. Apply for entry
2. Be granted entry
3. Enter
Let's face it, would you want gatecrashers at your daughter's wedding or your wife's birthday party?

Julie nature never ceases to inspire.
Take a couple of five petal flowers crowning the silvery foilage, a bee and an observant imagination and transform the colourful palette into poetry.
Beautiful.

Indeed no one knows what happens in the realm of death. No one has returned from that unknown land and told tales of what happens there.
I like the idea that death is invitation from God for some to be its companion. What a lovely thought.

Couldn't agree more! Plastic money can lead to finding oneself in dire straits, and it's on record that people think more about making a purchase if they have to actually take the cash out of purse or pocket.
It's sound management to pay for something important, like a car with a 'flexible payment plan', even though it costs you more, as you still have money for other things. Can remember the 'never never' days too ! Used especially for tellies ot washing machines I remember.
What is an EMI, please?

Liked this one! Birthday cakes seem to be under fire. My mother's Fox Terrier, a real Artful Dodger, demolished one, turning it over as he didn't like the icing, eating all the cake, just leaving an icing shell! Another was eaten, candles and all, by a pony putting its head through the open window where the birthday party table had been set out.

Loved this one! It's rather a trite thing to say, but very wealthy people ( not that I have met many), often don't seem very happy with it all.Think that Keith is right to say that often small daily treats like his, available to us all, give more satisfaction. If you can obtain absolutely anything you desire, do you still want the things?Think of the Getty family from Grandad Getty down. Have also known a couple of families, like your aunt, who were really generous, both with their time and money, and they were obviously delighted to be able to do this. Jennifer
