Wonderful use of words, and, as Martin says, imagery, Shifa.
Superb ?

This feels like an extended metaphor about human society. If you meant that, or even if you didn't, well done!

Wonderful. I am seeing robots everywhere now. Especially after Monday night. As a result a mini series of mine now has a dystopian leaning towards it

Martin,
After reading this poem the word exhilarating flew into my mind. I was back in my childhood sledging with my brother on a rather inadequate thing made by my father. The two of us would set off and hurtle down the slope which held some danger as a stream was at the bottom and had to be skillfully avoided.
Thank you for this
Keith

On the radio a volunteer who had talked to concerned anxious people who seemed so worried as they waited.
He just helped saying it would only take a few minutes for the jab and noticed one lady he had already talked to come back.
The doctors and nurses came out afterwards and said something like this makes a desperate situation a whole lot better to deal with.
Thanks for your comment Keith

Thank you for sharing your experience Andy. And yes the island life is considerably different to the mainland. I was there in 2014 spent a week on the mainland then a week on Tobacco Cayes at their Marine station for a university research project. Best two weeks I’ve had ?

Good poem. I was in Belize in 1980. I lived on Ambergris Kaye while recovering from la touristas - which I got in Cancun. It was hell going through Belize and staying in Belize city. Once I got to the island it was heaven. I was on the reef a few times. This takes me back.

What's left besides the last final part... quite a lot, but until you can decide what that is for you, write lots of poetry. ?

I'll agree to agree so my comment can stay
But let's make it clear, as its better that way
This agreement assumed much of what you intend
Let me give some examples to show what I meant.
If you're thinking that I'm as wise as can be
If you're thinking that I write such cool poetry
If you're thinking that there's no one better than me
Then I undoubtedly, absolutely, unarguably agree.

I think I like your poem, but i had a hard time following in parts. I know that can be part of the poem, but I looked up several words and I didn't find definitions (steeline, nuturance, unsutured (kind of has a def)) and it was hard for me to find the theme, even after rereading it. ... The second half was vivid and compelling and I hope to get the connection to the beginning.
Thank you for sharing

Thank you so much for the comments. I didn't want to write poems about stereotypes, so the roles could just as easily be the other way round. This situation is just an example. But the notion of two people doing shared or parallel things in order to make it through many decades together is quite an inspiring one.
Thanks for the kind comments on the language, Jennifer.
